REBUILDING A UL HARLEY BIG TWIN FLATHEAD

I have a 47UL big twin flathead motor in the shop that I’m rebuilding for a friend this winter. Legend has it that it was found in a silo in Kansas! Have no idea of the truth of that, but is is in pretty nice shape for a 75 year old motor!

So, it came in here in boxes and we started the rebuild process here a couple of weeks ago. We started on the connecting rods, which were pretty decent, but needed new races installed and honed.
